Vegan Sausage Rolls

Endless Possibilities with Yumi’s Pumpkin & Spinach Veggie Bites

Pumpkin & Spinach

Makes 16 small sausage rolls
You will need a piping bag for this recipe


2 x 225g packets Yumi’s Veggie Bites (we used Pumpkin & Spinach and Zucchini & Lentil)
1 tub Yumi’s Traditional Middle Eastern Hommus, plus extra to serve
1 sheets store-bought puff pastry*
Olive oil spray
Za’atar, to decorate


  1. Preheat oven to 200ºC fan.  Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Combine Veggie Bites and Traditional Middle Eastern Hommus in a food processor and blend until smooth.  Transfer to a piping bag with a 2cm hole snipped from the end.
  3. Cut the puff pastry sheets in half so you have 4 rectangular sheets  Pipe the mixture along one long edge of each pastry rectangle then roll to enclose.
  4. Arrange the rolls on the prepared tray, spray with olive oil spray and sprinkle with za’atar before baking for 20-25 mins or until golden.  Serve hot with extra hommus.
