Yumi’s Cheesy French Onion Hommus Baguette
Serves 8 as a snack
1 long baguette
250g cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 tub Yumi’s French Onion Hommus
3 spring onions, sliced
4 rashers streaky bacon, finely diced, fried
2 cups mixed, grated cheese
Freshly cracked black pepper
- Preheat oven to 180ºC. Line a large baking tray with foil.
- Make a large cut down the length of the baguette.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Yumi’s French Onion Hommus, spring onion, fried bacon and grated cheese. Stir well then season with pepper.
- Stuff the filling into the cut of the baguette, making sure it is evenly filled. Cut the baguette into 4 even lengths then assemble and wrap in foil. Place onto the prepared tray and bake for 15 mins. Uncover and cook under the oven grill (HIGH) for a further 5 mins until golden and melted. Serve immediately.
