Yumi’s Carrot and Sesame San Choy Bao

 Endless Possibilities with Yumi’s Carrot with toasted sesame

Serves 4-6 as an appetiser


1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp finely grated ginger
500g pork mince
1 tub Yumi’s Carrot and Sesame dip
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp kecap manis
1 cup bean sprouts
Baby cos lettuce, to serve
Crushed peanuts, to serve


  1. Heat sesame oil in a wok or large frypan over medium-high heat.  Add garlic, ginger and mince and fry 3-4 mins until browned.  Add Yumi’s Carrot and Sesame dip and stir well, heat through for a further minute before adding oyster sauce and kecap manis.  Heat through for a further 2 mins.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in the bean sprouts.
  3. Divide pork mixture between lettuce leaves and sprinkle with crushed peanuts to serve.
